"High Acres Maple Syrup Cookbook" By Sue Chapman Melanson - 220 recipes, 144 pages, spiral bound with a great index. $10.99
Sue Chapman Melanson's
HIGH ACRES MAPLE SYRUP COOK BOOK
is a 144-page spiral bound volume containing 220 recipes using maple syrup. Sue felt that no cook book is worth it's salt unless it features a thorough index, and this cook book has that. You will find appetizers, breads, breakfast specialties (of course, a variety of pancake recipes), beverages, jams, spreads, sauces, entrees, vegetables, salad dressings, fruits, candy and desserts. There are informational pages on how to care for maple syrup, substitute it in recipes, how it is graded and how it is made. You will especially want to try
Sue's Maple Apple Pie
and
Capt. Art's Shipwreck Sundae.
$15.95

(also available on the Amazon, LaPierre, Bascom's and WF Mason websites, as well as at Apple Acres Farm during the apple season -- and sometimes on eBay)

THE BARN STORE
We have a little shop in the Barn that can be opened by request
at any time year round.

Some of our wares include:

High Acres Maple Syrup
H.O. scale card stock Sugarhouse model kit
Oak Hill Farm Herbal Teas
Lavender Lemonade Herbs
Tried and True Vintage Tea Accessories (tea balls and strainers)
Postcards of Sue Melanson's watercolors

We accept cash, checks, MasterCard and VISA cards.

Our Sugarhouse is attached to the Barn, so, if you have a few minutes,
we can give you a quick tour of the maple sugaring operation even if it is off-season...
and if it's February, March or early April and you drive by (by car, truck or snowmobile)
and see steam billowing from the cupola, please drop in and watch us boil.
We love to show off our maple operation!
